One of our customers pointed out an expose on the ethics of some recruitment agencies. As the Sales Director of a successful technology business he’s faced with the daily challenge of recruiting and retaining the best people for his business.

The expose found that unscrupulous agencies often post non-existent jobs on job boards to farm CVs and even more unethical is to steal or scrape other agencies on-line adverts to muscle in on placements!

Ironically, I’ve written this post at the IoD hub in Manchester, as usual it’s full of agencies interviewing people for jobs! Our advice to companies and individuals is to focus on getting the right person in the right job working in a great team. To do this you need to commit time to the process of building a great team.
